Drew Barrymore just brought her show to the Windy City.
The award-winning actress launched The Drew Barrymore Show to present “human-interest stories, celebrity guests, lifestyle segments and field pieces, all driven by her infectious brand of a humor and optimism,” the IMDb synopsis reads. Barrymore has hosted tons of high-profile guests on her show, including country singer (and poetry writer) Kelsea Ballerini, actor Jeff Goldblum, TV personality Gayle King and tons of others.
The show started last year, and now, in its second season, Barrymore met with CBS 2 to dive into a behind-the-scenes look at bringing the show to Chicago, where Barrymore’s production company filmed its first official movie more than two decades ago. The show was filmed in Millennium Park, with the landmark “Bean” shining in the background. Audrina Bigos of CBS 2 joined Barrymore in a “Drew’s News” segment shared on The Drew Barrymore Show’s Instagram account on Thursday afternoon (November 18): “Are jokesters really the smartest people in the room? @cbschicago's @audrina_ontv joins Drew at the Bean to talk about an interesting new study! 🧠 Tag your favorite class clown.”
The Drew Barrymore Show airs on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. Watch the clip with Bigos here:
