Here's How To Score Tickets To 'Wicked' When The Show Returns To Chicago

Thank Goodness”… Wicked is coming back to Chicago in 2022.

The smash Broadway musical is coming to the James M. Nederlander Theatre from September 28 through December 4, 2022, telling a unique tale of the Land of Oz: “Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one ‘good,’ and the other one ‘wicked,’” reads Broadway in Chicago.

Broadway in Chicago announced that groups of 10+ can book tickets beginning today (November 30). Groups can book by calling 312-977-1710 or emailing groupsales@broadwayinchicago.com. Single tickets will go on sale at a later date Theatre-goers can stay up-to-date with the latest Wicked info here.

The award-winning musical debuted in 2003, starring Idina Menzel (Elphaba) and Kristin Chenoweth (Glinda) in the original cast. Now, the show is coming to the big screen in a film adaptation starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo as Glinda and Elphaba, respectively. Chenoweth was proud to pass the torch to Grande, telling ET: “I couldn’t be more proud as if it was my own kid… I know the role is in the right hands.”
