This may just be the best news of the year so far.
I might also be being a bit dramatic, but that's not the point here.
The point is: Paramount+ has officially picked up the hit show Criminal Minds for season 16.
Most of the cast is returning, other than the beloved Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler...super sad face!) and Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney).
There haven't been too many details released just yet, but we do know a little about the overall plot of season 16.
TVLine reported: in the Criminal Minds revival, the elite team of FBI criminal profilers will face off against the most menacing villain in the history of the show. The UnSub, or unknown subject, in question is referred to as the BAU's "their greatest threat yet — an UnSub who has used the pandemic to build a network of other serial killers." When the revival begins, it is said that the "network has gone 'operational' and the team 'must hunt them down, one murder at a time.'
Sounds like this is going to be a wild ride!
