Fred is the host of The Fred Show on 103.5 KISS FM in Chicago, which is also heard across the country on the iHeartRadio app each weekday morning. Fred is a licensed commercial pilot and a volunteer aviator for “Pilots N Paws,” a National organization that assists in relocating adoptable rescue animals to new forever homes and shelters. He is philanthropically active, participating in boards and events for myriad causes including The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Association, Make A Wish, PAWS Chicago and Cal’s Angels.
Kaelin is the Entertainment Reporter and Executive Producer of The Fred Show! After growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, she graduated with her BA in Journalism from Michigan State University and has been living in downtown Chicago for almost seven years. Kaelin is a mix between the “old soul”/mom of the show and the fun thirty-something who loves going out with her friends. When she’s not watching trashy tv she spends her time traveling, going to concerts and standing up in weddings. She also has a passion for mental health awareness and breaking the "stigma" that surrounds it. Kaelin is coming up on her sixth year working on The Fred Show.
Rufio is a Chicago native and has been at 103.5KISSFM for over 15 years. He started off as an intern which helped him become an on-air talent. From weekend shifts to the night show, Rufio made the biggest leap in his career when he joined The Fred Show in 2017. His infectious laugh and personality brings tons of energy to the show. In his free time, Rufio loves spending time with his wife and loves being a dad to his 3-year old son.
Paulina Roe is an on-air personality, born and raised on the Southwest side of Chicago. Paulina is a voice within the city, and her character brings a diverse, young, and bold sound to The Fred Show on 103.5 KISSFM and iHeartRadio. Paulina also hosts her podcast, "unEntitled," where she passes the microphone and shares powerful stories of today's millennials.
Paulina is heavily involved with local charities and community events. As a Latina/Polish woman who grew up in an immigrant household, she is passionate about volunteering with local community organizations and advocates for mental health awareness. Paulina founded the "Get Yo Mind Right" initiative, which provides free services to Chicago's under-resourced communities. Paulina enjoys interacting with others on social media and on air, which is why she is the "social butterfly" of the show.
Showbiz Shelly has been an entertainment reporter and radio personality in the Chicago market for 18 years. She currently hosts her own show 10am-noon on Kiss FM and plays the Showbiz Shelly Showdown, a pop culture quiz game, with The Fred Show every morning at 7:45am! Shelly grew up in Chicago around the North Shore area and later graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism with a degree in broadcasting. Shelly has interviewed everyone from Angelina Jolie to Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez to Kevin Hart. She has even traveled to Los Angeles to cover The Grammys, movie premieres, American Idol the American Music Awards and lots more. You may occasionally find Shelly on TV as she contributes entertainment scoops to CBS, ABC, WCIU and FOX.
Shelly is recently married to her husband who is an officer in the Navy. Most of their free time is spent with their beautiful daughter who was born in June 2022.
Jason Brown, the "owner" of KISS FM (as named by Fred) is a Chicagoland native from the Southwest suburbs. You may recognize him from his short yet powerful stints on TMZ or TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress”, but currently the Promotions Director of 103.5 KISSM, Jason oversees all station promotions/contents, events, concerts and day to day operations of Chicago’s #1 hit music station.
Depending on the day, you can catch Jason out and about in Chicago, bopping to Britney Spears & Kelly Clarkson or at home with his favorite box of Franzia, snuggling with his 2 Corgis (AKA The Girls).
Keke is the voice of millennials in Chicago! Raised in the South Suburbs of Chicago, Keke is all about mixing passion with purpose. From her start as an intern, to working behind the scenes, she has taken her love for connecting with listeners to the next level
Named a "2020 Rising Radio Star" by Radio Facts Magazine, and a "Future Radio African American Leader" by RadioInk Magazine, Keke continues to create viral content and deliver compelling celebrity interviews. Keke is also a TV & Digital media personality making multiple appearances on ABC7's 'Windy City Live' and Fox32's "Later With Leon". She is also a co-host of the popular "What More Can I Say" Podcast, and the host of her very own cooking show, 'Cooking with KeKe & Ryan'. When she's not on the mic, you can catch KeKe reporting from the hottest events, or hosting “The Kickback With Keke”, her after school program for under privileged kids in the south suburbs of Chicago.
