Exercise: City of Chicago Fitness Plus Program

Millennium Park Workouts is a FREE fitness program held at Millennium Park's Great Lawn. 

  • May 18-Aug 31 
  • Morning workouts feature 45-minute classes in Pilates, Yoga, Zumba and Cardio Kickboxing. The Pilates and Yoga sessions will be accompanied by live music from renowned Chicago musicians.

Emergency Homeless Assessment and Response Center – Families in need can call 311 to be connected to short-term housing while awaiting shelter placement in addition to showers, meals, and a play place for children.

Adults 60+ 

  • Contact the Department of Family and Support Services’ call center at 312-744-4016 (Monday through Friday) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for information on food resources including the Meals on Wheels Program. Meals on Wheels is a weekly meal delivery program that provides six meals to the home of older adults. Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) senior residents 60 and over can also contact CHA’s emergency services.
