Doja Cat announced that she would be quitting music on Twitter Thursday night. In a Twitter rant she stated "This s*** ain't for me so I'm out. Y'all take care." She also stated in a since deleted tweet "it's gone and I don't give a f*** anymore I f***** quit I can't wait to f***** disappear and I don't need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i'm a f***** fool for ever thinking I was made for this this is a f***** nightmare unfollow me." She then changed her Twitter account name to "i quit."
This tweet comes after a Tiktok post last month commenting that she doesn't "know how" to be a celebrity. The Tiktok itself seemed to be off the cuff and humorous - an on brand post for the "Say So" artist. Considering this latest set of Tweets, perhaps the pressure has been building for a while.
