Chicago Pride Parade

It's PRIDE parade time! If you're planning on joining the close to 750,000 people downtown tomorrow there are just a few things you need to know prior.

So let's get to it - where exactly is the parade starting and stopping? The parade will start off on Montrose and Broadway and head South into Lincoln Park. The parade will span over 4-miles filled with 150 floats of LGBTQ members, marching bands, drag queens, dancers, DJs, 103.5 KISS FM family and many more.

According to parade organizers depending on what you want, there are a couple of ways to go about your location. If being in the middle is your forte then head on over to Halstead in Boystown. If you want to avoid crowds you can stand either at the start between Montrose and Broadway or at the end between Montrose and Broadway just South of Belmont.

As far as getting downtown public transportation will be your best bet. Who knows you might even get lucky and wind up on one of the Pride wrapped CTA trains.

Also, who doesn't love free stuff?! If you'd like to get your hands on free swag be sure to be at the front of the crowd because "legally" no one in the parade can throw anything into the crowd.
