Happy post-Draft week! It was a big weekend for both the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls with their respective drafts.

1. For the first time since 2007 when Patrick Kane was selected the Blackhawks received a top 10 draft pick. With the 8th overall pick, they selected Adam Boqvist, a defenseman from Canada to the Windy City. They also picked up a 22nd overall pick with Nicolas Beaudin.

As far as their current lineup, the team has officially parted ways with forward, Anthony Duclair. And there have been talks about the organization reaching out to St. Louis Blues goaltender, Carter Hutton. Free agency starts on July 1st so I think it's safe to say we might see more changes expect a once that time comes.

2. The Chicago Bulls had their draft Thursday at the Barclay Center in New York where they selected 7th overall. Wendell Carter Jr., a center/forward from Duke will now be calling the Windy City home. They also had the 22nd overall pick where they selected Chandler Hutchinson.

3. It's that time of year again when you, the fans, can show your support for your favorite big leaguers by voting for them as a part of the MLB All-Star game.

You can cast your votes online to help determine 8 position players and the designated hitter for the American league. As of right now, four players are currently in 2nd place at their respective positions. Catcher Willson Contreras, 1st baseman Anthony Rizzo, 2nd baseman Javier Baez, and 3rd baseman Kris Bryant could all potentially be taking the field in D.C.
