Nate Sutton; Dealer Principal of Sutton Ford

From small beginnings in Sutton Auto Team’s first location just south of the Chicago city limits, to one of the most successful auto groups in the Chicagoland area for the past 30 years. It’s no coincidence that Nate Sutton has coupled the ideals of entrepreneurship with community service to help build the surrounding area and city that he loves so dearly. He has shown his commitment to using his success as a platform to:

1.   Build better hospitals

(Ingalls Hospital Board of Directors.)

2.   Create economic opportunities and provide community support for Chicago area residents

(Board member on the Village of Matteson Economic Development Commission, The Emmaus Community Elder Emeritus.)

3.   Mentor and create opportunities domestically and abroad for those who seek economic empowerment

(Business Fraternity Sigma Pi Phi Team Mentoring member; Board of Governors, Opportunity International: A Micro Finance Non-profit.)

4.   Mentor youth

(Man-Boy Breakfast Speaker. Man-Boy Breakfast provides opportunities for young men in the Chicagoland area to connect with mentors through tutoring, mentoring, summer camps and sports outings.)

Outside of his public commitment to positively contribute to his surrounding community, Nate Sutton is a celebrated business trailblazer. He has used his background in Engineering from Michigan State (’78) to become one of the most resourceful auto dealers in the Midwest. Receiving numerous awards over the last 30 years from both Ford Motor Company and Honda Motor Company in recognition of Sutton Auto Teams’ ground breaking sales and service records (Ford and Honda President’s award for distinguished customer service, Ford Owner Loyalty distinguished dealer, Ford Motor Credit Corp’s Partner’s In Quality and Ford Top 100 Volume North America.)

In his personal time, he still sweeps his high school sweetheart and wife, Mallory off her feet and counsels/mentors/hugs his three adult daughters.
