Steve Phillipos Owner, Chevrolet of Homewood

Steve Phillipos, owner of Chevrolet of Homewood, began working exclusively in the auto industry in 1981. He became owner of Chevrolet of Homewood in 2002. Prior to that, Phillipos was a partner at Steve Peters Chevrolet and worked as a general manager for AutoNation, and several other Chicagoland dealerships throughout the years.

An alumnus of St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, Phillipos attended Loyola University Chicago. He is a member of the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) board of directors and the Chicagoland Chevrolet Dealers ad association.

Phillipos is an active fundraiser for charitable organizations. He supports the Glenwood School for Boys & Girls, created HomewoodChevyCares.com, hosts an annual food drive, coat drive and school supplies program. In addition, Chevrolet of Homewood presents a monthly "social media for a good cause" award and annually gives away a car to a family in need.
