Oklahoma Hospital Uses Remote Control Cars To Bring Kids To Surgery

Smart thinking for whoever came up with this. To ease the mind's of children thinking surgery and other large procedures are a scary experience, this hospital is bringing kids to the operating table in style with remote control cars. This way, kids are calmer, almost excited about surgery. Don't worry though. Seatbelts are included and the cars are controlled by the nurses so it isn't Tokyo Drift Jr. from floor to floor. I love this idea because it keeps a smile their faces. On the other hand, I could see SO many doctors, nurses, etc. being upset about how loud it is. Not to mention a hospital hallway is crowded already. Anything for the good of the kids though. I wonder how effective this and if other hospital are taking up this tactic. Full story below!
