Last Friday, Kanye West live-streamed his album release party for 'ye' in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was in the middle of nowhere, on a farm, mountains within backdrop until it was too dark to see them. Oh, and a TON of famous people. This week, he's taking that concept on the road for his merch pop-up. Last night, it came to Chicago... or kind of. It was hosted in Maple Park, IL an hour outside of the city. Naturally people weren't happy. What went down there? Exclusive city merch was given out, there was a s'mores station, cornhole and a bonfire once it got dark. The new album was played several times. All in all, lots of people are saying it was ok. Kanye West was not in attendance but it comes to no surprise. Hope this next album tonight puts on a better merch tour.
