Any "Top Gun: Maverick" news is great news to me. Today it was announced that Miles Teller has been cast to play Goose's son in the sequel. Excellent move by the directors. Teller has already racked up a great on film résumé between 'Whiplash,' the 'Divergent' series and 'War Dogs' just to name a few. Because "Top Gun: Maverick" isn't set to hit the silver screen until July of 2019, news is slowly trickling in however Miles Tiller joins Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer in the sequel to the 1986 hit.
