I don't know if you recall the giant deer statue that use to sit in downtown between Lake street and Franklin street but it looks like Chicago's riverwalk is getting a new installation in the coming months. The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced that new piece by Chicago artist Robert Burnier will occupy the area. The installation is crafted in a completely artistic direction than that of the deer as Burnier will be creating giant geometric figures just along Wacker drive. The piece will be up until May 2019 so hopefully it's strong to withstand the harsh winter. Full story below.
