For whatever reason, high school me is really excited to be hearing this news. The Plain White T's' number 1 hit single 'Hey There Delilah' is being turned into a romantic dramedy television series and being shopped around to major networks. We all know the story through the song: a small town girl leaves her boyfriend or fling to move to New York City for college while the young musician is pursuing his music career back home with promises of writing a hit that'll bring them together and change their lives (also know as, every suburban romance post high school). And even though we know the plot, the fact that it's embedded in all us makes me intrigued about this show. I'm calling an American classic right now. Hopefully this plays out.
