Only a few months after pop-star Ariana Grande announced her engagement to SNL star Pete Davidson the two are calling it quits. Neither had commented on the split since shocking fans with the news until yesterday. Pete broke his silence at Judd & Pete for America at the Coronet in West Hollywood.
The comedian joked, "Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on. Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?"
Davidson did finally announce their split to the public by saying,
"So, obviously you know I, we broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos. And it was like in a magazine like, 'Was Pete Davidson stupid?' And 93 percent of it said yes. So my boy, he was like, 'Don't listen to that s**t man. They're literally f**king haters.' And I'm like, yeah, f**k that. I'm not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, 'Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'"
So source closest to the couple says that the break-up wasn't a shock at all because everything was just "way too much too soon."
Ariana Grande has stayed silent since the break-up both taking a break from social media and refusing to comment to media outlets.
