There is something new going down with Kanye West each week. However, for as wild as he can get this one seems a little more legitimate. Don't get confused. This is still pretty intense and could drive him and "big brother" JAY-Z even further apart. Just this past week, Mr. West filed a pair of lawsuits to see himself out of certain contracts in hopes of gaining more control over his career. One is against EMI, the song publisher that's held rights over his songs since 2003, the same year he released his debut album The College Dropout. The second, is aimed at Roc-a-Fella Records, UMG Recordings, Def Jam and Bravado International Group. What's so crazy is in the second lawsuit, West claims he took part in "revitalizing Jay-Z's career." Hopefully this gets worked out amicably and both parties will be able to come together to give us a Watch The Throne 2.
