Now that Game Of Thrones is over, fans are in shambles. Some love the ending. Many hated it. And for the ones that hated it, they've gone as far as starting a petition to have the final season redone by "competent writers." Well for all the stars who worked on the show they're not too many with the fan backlash. Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark, had this to say about the petition in her latest New York Times interview:
"I think it’s disrespectful to the crew, and the writers, and the filmmakers who have worked tirelessly over 10 years, and for 11 months shooting the last season. Like 50-something night shoots. So many people worked so, so hard on it, and for people to just rubbish it because it’s not what they want to see is just disrespectful."
It's interesting to see how Twitter has such an effect on shows like this considering how easy it is to reach celebrities. Considering how much time and energy it took to make the final season it's incredibly unlikely HBO will agree to the petition regardless of how many people sign it. We'll just have to reminisce in the seasons prior that we love.
