MY BLOCK TO HELP FACILITATE VACCINE APPOINTMENTS FOR SENIORS

In partnership with Innovative Express Care and the Chicago Vaccine Angels, local non-profit My Block My Hood My City (M3) will be assisting seniors residing in the south and west sides of the city with securing vaccine appointments.

To take on this crucial effort, they need volunteers across the city to mobilize and assist in this undertaking.

As founder Jahmal Cole says: “Our senior citizen communities have always shown up for us, and now it is our time to show up for them,” said Jahmal Cole, Founder of My Block My Hood My City. “I know that our M3 volunteers are some of the best in the city, and I also know that we can rally as we have before to help this crucial effort for our seniors.”

Seniors looking for assistance must sign up either through email (m3vaccinatechicago@gmail.com), via phone (773-413-8439) or by CLICKING HERE!

Volunteers willing to assist should register HERE.

M3 is committed to serving seniors through this difficult time, and hope to soon offer rides for the group to and from vaccine appointments. People called to help are encouraged to donate to this initiative by visiting formyblock.salsalabs.org/seniorservices.
