Jowell, who worked on Bad Bunny's song "Safaera" started this battle after saying that he and Bad Bunny only receive 1% of royalties from the song. He said this was because Missy Elliott "stayed with everything" for the "Get Your Freak On" sample.
Missy decided to hit Twitter to set the record straight. She said that she normally does not talk business but because she has been pushed, reveled she is keeping 25% royalties off the song.
