Harry Potter has had a strong hold on the world since the late 90's, when the first novel was released by controversial author J.K. Rowling.
After the success of 8 feature films and a new video game (Hogwarts Legacy), a TV series adaptation is on the way with an all-new cast from 'Max', formerly known as streaming service HBO Max.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "each season will be authentic to the original books and bring Harry Potter and these incredible adventures to new audiences around the world, while the original, classic and beloved films will remain at the core of the franchise and available to watch globally."
The Channing Dungey-led Warner Bros. TV will be the studio on the series.
