That day is getting closer and closer, as Disney's live action of The Little Mermaid is set to release on May 26th worldwide.
Ariel will be played by Halle Bailey, 1/2 of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle.
The world premiere in Los Angeles brought out the stars (and their kids), such as Tia & Tamera Mowry, Offset, Halle's sister Chloe and more.
Representation is so important, and with Halle's melodic voice and charisma, she is sure to be an unforgettable Ariel.
