The Drew Barrymore Show has been renewed for its fifth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The renewal for the 2024-25 season comes three months into the show’s fourth run — and four months after Barrymore drew the ire of Hollywood writers in announcing plans to restart her show during the Writers Guild of America Strike.
In September, Barrymore announced that her talk show would begin production on season four without writers, saying at the time, “I want to be there to provide what writers do so well, which is a way to bring us together or help us make sense of the human experience. I hope for a resolve for everyone as soon as possible.”
