The ever-popular simulation game, The Sims, is coming to life...kind of!
Barbie actress Margot Robbie is set as producer, and Kate Herron will direct. Here's what we know, according to Yahoo! Entertainment:
Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara will produce the movie through the LuckyChap Entertainment banner, while Roy Lee will produce for Vertigo Entertainment. Electronic Arts, the company that publishes the video game series, will also be involved in the creative and production process.
Herron directed six episodes of Marvel Studios’ Loki television series. She’s also directed episodes of Sex Education and Daybreak, while she’s attached to helm episodes of The Last of Us’ upcoming second season.
Plot details remain under wraps at this time. Casting for the movie has not yet been announced.
