He was an NFL star, he was an MLB star, he is still the only guy to ever play in an NFL game and a Major League Baseball game on the SAME DAY! And now, Dion "Prime Time" Sanders is making noise as a coach. After coaching for a few seasons at a smaller college, he signed on as the head coach at the University of Colorado.
Here's the thing: his contract is $29.5 million. But as the school's athletics director admits, they literally did not have that much money! But here's the thing....the school has sold out the season for the first time in 27 years and donations have totaled $28 million, about $20 million more than they usually receive.
