Taylor Swift is involved in a legal battle regarding copyright over her 2014 song "Shake It Off". The suit is claiming that she stole the lyrics of 3Lw's 2001 song "Playas Gon' Play".
Taylor released an official in-depth response yesterday to the claim and revealed that before this lawsuit, she had never heard of the song or 3LW!
She said, "“Until learning about Plaintiffs’ claim in 2017, I had never heard the song ‘Playas Gon’ Play’ and had never heard of that song or the group 3LW,”
