The Mega Millions and Powerball drawings are now worth a combined $1.6 billion!! Wow!!!
Nearly $1.6 billion are up for grabs after no one hit the big jackpot in either Powerball or Mega Millions over the weekend.
There were many big winners in the Powerball on Saturday, including 14 tickets that matched all five white balls to win $1 million. But for the fourth time in its 28-year history, the Powerball jackpot has crossed the $700 million mark.
The Powerball jackpot has reached $730 million for Wednesday’s drawing. If won, that jackpot would be the 6th largest win in U.S. lottery history.
The latest Mega Millions drawing on Friday was also unsuccessful, and the jackpot has soared to $850 million. If that drawing is won, it would be the third-largest jackpot in U.S. history.
The next Mega Millions drawing is on Tuesday.
