Jim Carrey is back as 'The Cable Guy' in a new Super Bowl ad!
Jim Carrey is back as “The Cable Guy” in a new Super Bowl ad, entitled “Suiting Up,” for Verizon’s 5G Internet, the company revealed in a teaser released Wednesday.
The Canadian-American funnyman, 60, played the titular role in the 1996 black comedy, directed by Ben Stiller and co-starring Matthew Broderick, Leslie Mann, Jack Black and George Segal.
Produced by Judd Apatow, the movie sees Carrey’s cable guy, Chip, desperate to befriend a customer (Broderick), only for his attempts to eventually escalate into dangerous stalking.
