As you probably know, our daughter Olivia was born early this summer on June 4th, 2022. It's been a wild ride ever since. A few weeks before giving birth I got really sick (you might remember I had to take a few days off work) and my husband Mike and I missed a baby class we were planning to go to. It was going to teach us all about swaddling, feeding, etc. I was so nervous we had to skip it! Like, how will we know what to do? Turns out things have been fine and we've kind of been winging it ever since.

The first month or so Olivia had some tummy issues so there was lots of crying and sleepless nights. I've learned there are incredible amounts of influencers, Facebook groups and more with opinions on what to do. At the end of the day, you really got to stick with your gut and what you think is best for your baby.

It was so fun to celebrate all the summer holidays with our new little family! Mike had his first Father's Day and then there was the Fourth of July. And oh my gosh. I've had a blast buying baby clothes for Olivia. There are so many cute things out there. We were obsessed with her little Fourth of July bathing suit.

If you didn't know, my husband Mike is in the Navy. He deployed a few weeks ago. I have a great network of family, friends and other military spouses I've connected with since he left. Olivia has already grown so much she'll be a different baby when he gets back! We can't wait for when that time comes.
